Shopping Daze

In Other Words, shopping…

Gone, mall-crawling daze

Pulse-jumping hypnotic trance

Stopping at each shop

Arms breaking with weighty bags…

Now, Amazon hooks my debt

Too many allures

At fault, over-gifting heart

Pays bills all New Year

  1. I shop Amazon and know many folks do. What I wonder…why are the stores still crowded this time of year? More than 5 lines but it’s ok the poem was fun to read, thanks for sharing it.
