Waiting for

The road Home

To appear…

My breakwater, Gone-love

Remains a life-unlived

No surge of expression

Left in soul, familiarity

Affords paltry drug-like balm

Palliative remedy

For, heart is shade

Within shadows…

So tiptoe, please

Our painted world

Is where mercurial

Madness stalks…
