Barely audible above agitated sea’s tumultuous waves, spewed foam…flock of gulls wing and wail, dip and soar, mimic ocean’s throaty roar.
I ponder, listen intently for message, mystery deep beneath; treasure carried, trustworthy, by avian heart’s true weep.
And so they bring words to the shore, bow their heads before they speak—“My Lady, your Love, fiercely faithful, passions belonging only to you…regrettably, he breathes no more”.
