Pages spin, surge of words…
Voices rant, bow before Creator God
Who holds wealth of all dictionaries
As well as every soul who opens lips
To utter with native tongue or
Writing tool, heart’s outpouring:
Wisdom, yearning, contempt, ardor
Frustration, shame, compassion, ache
Of longing, humor, excruciating agony
Exquisite joy…the whole human
Experience in its infinite variations.
His love and mercy embrace, celebrate
Our complexities with gladness that
He made us to be fully alive…not
Emotionless machines.
